IMPROVING THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR CHINESE STUDENTS IN THE TOURISM INDUSTRY IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TRAINING

Abstract

This paper explores the ways of enhancing the Russian language training programs for Chinese students in the tourism industry to improve the effectiveness of training. With the rising number of Russian-speaking tourists visiting China and expanding economic and cultural ties between Russia and China, there is a growing need for tourism professionals who can communicate effectively in Russian. It has become particularly important to strengthen Russian language training programs for Chinese students by identifying key areas for improvement such as curriculum design, teaching methodology, cultural immersion experiences and industry collaboration. This paper aims to provide some recommendations for optimizing Russian language training programs so that students can acquire the necessary language skills and cultural competence while improving their professional skills in the tourism industry to better serve Russian-speaking tourists. The main attention is paid to curriculum design based on the task approach.
