Political and economical aspects of the Three Seas Initiative

Abstract

В выпускной квалификационной работе дается обзор институционального развития Инициативы "Трех морей" после раскрытия либерального интерговернменталистского подхода к изучению интеграционных процессов в Европе. Сегодня расширение сотрудничества между государствами Центрально-Восточной Европы активно поддерживается Соединенными Штатами Америки, Германией, а также Европейским союзом. В развитии Инициативы "Трех морей" прослеживается комплементарность между инструментарием, который находится на расположении у нее, и инвестиционными механизмами Европейского союза, с помощью которых осуществляется инвестирование в инфраструктуру в регионах. Автор обвязывает процесс расширения Инициативы "Трех морей" с политикой расширения Европейского союза. В исследовании автором даются сценарии развития Инициативы, а также рекомендации в случае их наступления.

The thesis gives an overview of the institutional development of the Three Seas Initiative after revealing the liberal intergovernmentalist approach to the study of integration processes in Europe. Nowadays, increased cooperation between the states of Central and Eastern Europe is actively supported by the United States of America, Germany, and the European Union. In the development of the Three Seas Initiative, there is a complementarity between the tools that are at its disposal and the investment mechanisms of the European Union, which are used to invest in infrastructure in the regions. The author links the expansion of the Three Seas Initiative to the enlargement policy of the European Union. The study provides scenarios for the development of the Initiative, as well as recommendations in case of their occurrence.
