| ru_RU |
dc.description.abstract | Master's research work is devoted to the development of a methodology for automated mapping of disturbed forest lands based upon Earth remote sensing data and geographic information systems. The significance of the study lies in automating the monitoring of forest resources in order to timely detect negative processes on disturbed forest lands and adjacent territories, and in facilitating management decision-making by responsible authorities. The relevance of the topic of research work is due to the problem of assessing the state and use of land against the background of an ever-increasing technogenic impact on the land resources of Russian Federation, which leads to the worsening of the land fund and changes in natural landscapes. The research analyzes the existing experience and methods of mapping the disturbances of forest lands, carried out practical experience and compiled a technological scheme of the developed methodology. A JavaScript script was also developed that implements the methodology based on the Google Earth Engine cloud geoinformation platform and cartographic materials were compiled and applied to the research work. | en_GB |
