Peculiarities of the creative component of the labour process of design engineers (case study of the design bureau of a research and production association in St.Petersburg)

Abstract

Современное общество, согласно многим теориям, описывается как информационное, где большую роль играют люди, создающие "идеи". Их деятельность характеризуется как интеллектуальная, творческая. Однако где эти люди "творят"? Большинство работников интеллектуального труда осуществляют свою деятельность именно на предприятиях. В работе предпринята попытка рассмотреть специфику интеллектуального труда на примере особенностей трудовой деятельности инженеров-конструкторов на одном из предприятий Санкт-Петербурга предприятии.

Modern society, according to many theories, is described as an information society, where people who create "ideas" play a major role. Their activity is described as intellectual, creative. But where do these people "create"? The majority of intellectual workers carry out their activities exactly in the enterprises. The study attempts to examine the specifics of intellectual labour by the example of the specifics of labour activity of design engineers at one of the enterprises in St. Petersburg.
