Implementation of the streaming version of the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm

Abstract

Алгоритм Левенберга–Марквардта хорошо зарекомендовал себя для решения задач нелинейного программирования. Сочетая в себе идеи из метода Гаусса-Ньютона и метода градиентного спуска, этот алгоритм показывает хорошую сходимость и устойчивость. В данной работе описана реализация статической и поточной версий алгоритма Левенберга–Марквардта на языке Kotlin в рамках мультиплатформенной библиотеки для математических вычислений KMath.

The Levenberg–Marquardt algorithm has proven to be effective in solving nonlinear programming problems. Combining ideas from Gauss–Newton algorithm and gradient descent method, this algorithm exhibits good convergence and robustness. This work describes the implementation of both static and streaming versions of the Levenberg–Marquardt algorithm in Kotlin for the multiplatform mathematical library KMath.
