Development of the method for analyzing changes in software performance based on the tails of the distributions of measurements of the work speed

Abstract

В данной работе разработан алгоритм, позволяющий с высоким качеством, определять является ли время теста на производительность приемлемым. Алгоритм может быть применён, как для автоматического выставления временных ограничений для тестирования на основе исторических данных, так и для анализа производительности таких тестов, для выявления проблем в производительности ПО.

In this paper, an algorithm is developed that allows, with high quality, to determine whether the performance test time is acceptable. The algorithm can be used both to automatically set timeouts for testing based on historical data, and to analyze the performance of such tests to identify problems in software performance.
