Globalization, as the form of existence of a consumer community recommended by Western culture, besides tangible material benefits intended for new members of the community, is fraught with existential dangers for the existence of distinctive cultures. The intensive processes of globalization, which include almost all states of the modern world, are characterized by a specific dialogue between the global culture and the cultures of traditional communities. They are forced to respond to every globalization challenge in order to preserve the integrity of the cultural core. The Chinese continental society successfully solves this problem by referring to the texts of Confucian culture, which are adapted to the requirements of the time and updated to the new specifics of Chinese everyday life.en_GB
