Landlords of the Novgorod Republic in the late 15th - first half of the 16th centuries

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена исследованию вопроса о служилых людях, испомещённых на Новгородской земле, об их социальном составе, видах и направлениях службы, а также о хозяйстве, которое велось на территории их поместий. В качестве источников при написании работы были использованы писцовые книги, летописи, разрядные и посольские книги, обширный актовый материал XV-XVI вв. Работа состоит из введения, трёх глав и заключения, списка использованных в работе источников и литературы. Во введении обоснованы актуальность, цель, задачи исследования, даётся характеристика источников. В первой главе представлена отечественная историография по проблеме становления поместной системы на Новгородской земле. Вторая глава посвящена поместному землевладению и хозяйству в Новгородской земле в конце XV-первой половине XVI в. Третья глава представляет собой исследование по вопросу о социальном составе и службе новгородских помещиков. В заключении подводятся итоги исследования.

This thesis is devoted to the question of the service class people landed in the Novgorodian land, their social structure, types and areas of service, as well as the household, which was conducted on the territory of their estates. Cadastral books, chronicles, lists of nobility, ambassadorial books and extensive assembly material of 15th-16th centuries were used as the sources. The thesis consists of the introduction, three chapters, conclusion, and the list of the sources and the literature used in the research. The relevance, the purpose and the objectives of the research are proved in the introduction, also there is given the characteristic of the sources. The first chapter provides the information about the domestic historiography on the problem of the formation of the landed system of the Novgorodian land. The second chapter is devoted to the estate landowning and the economy in the Novgorodian land at the late 15th - the first half of the 16th century. The third chapter is a research on the social structure and the service of the Novgorodian landlords. The results of the research are presented in the conclusion.
