The role of the Islamic factor in the current policy of the Russian Federation (2010 - 2016)

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена изучению влияния таких факторов, как политическая обстановка, уровень экономического развития, геополитическое положение в мусульманских странах Ближнего Востока, зоны Персидского Залива, постсоветского пространства и Южной Азии на развитие внешнеполитических отношений с РФ. Целью данной работы является выявление ключевых направлений во взаимодействии России и мусульманского мира. Первая глава раскрывает понятие «исламский фактор» с учетом различных подходов к изучению данного термина, а также описывает многовековую историю существования ислама на территории России. Вторая глава посвящена рассмотрению внешнеполитических отношений с Ближневосточными государствами, в условиях революционных событий «арабской весны». В третьей главе анализируются интересы РФ в отношении мусульманских государств постсоветского пространства и южно-азиатских государств Пакистана и Афганистана. Результаты, проведенного исследования изложены в заключение. Они позволяют сделать вывод о том, что «исламский фактор» затрагивает все сферы национальных интересов Российской Федерации, а положение России на международной арене напрямую зависит от политики, проводимой в мусульманском мире. В списке используемых источников и литературы значится 90 наименований.

This paper studies the influence of such factors as the political situation, the level of economic development, the geopolitical position of the Muslim countries in the Middle East, the Persian Gulf area, the former Soviet Union and South Asia on the development of foreign relations with the Russian Federation. The aim of this work is to identify the key areas of cooperation between Russia and the Muslim world. The first chapter describes the concept of "Islamic factor" in view of the different approaches, and describes the long history of Islam in Russia. The second chapter is devoted to foreign relations with Middle Eastern countries, in terms of the revolutionary events of the "Arab Spring". The third chapter analyzes the Russian interests in the post-Soviet Muslim states and South Asian countries of Pakistan and Afghanistan. The results of the study are set out in the conclusion. They allow us to conclude that the "Islamic factor" affects all spheres of Russia's national interests and the Russian position in the international arena depends on the policy pursued in the Muslim world. The list of used sources and literature includes 90 names.
