Cultural cooperation between Russia and the United States in the 21th century

Abstract

Выпускная квалификационная работа посвящена культурному сотрудничеству России и США. Целью работы является выявление динамики межкультурного взаимодействия стран в 2014-2019 годах. Особое внимание уделяется правовой базе, на основе которой осуществляется сотрудничество России и США в области культуры. Выделяются учреждения и организации, которые участвуют в реализации межкультурного взаимодействия. Для анализа отношений рассматриваются политические события 2014-2019 годов с тем, чтобы проанализировать, каким образом политический аспект повлиял на культурную сферу. Помимо этого, в работе выделяются проблемы и перспективы культурного сотрудничества, формулируются рекомендации. В результате проведенного исследования были сделаны следующие выводы: в национальных документах России и США отражены основные положения международных актов в области культуры; в организации межкультурного сотрудничества стран задействованы различные организации, фонды, культурные центры; политические события 2014-2019 гг. одновременно оказывали негативное влияние на культурное взаимодействие стран и стимулировали активнее развивать культурные контакты для ослабления напряжения между государствами.

This graduate qualifying work is a study devoted to cultural cooperation between Russia and the United States. The aim of the work is to identify the dynamics of intercultural cooperation between countries in 2014-2019. Special attention is paid to the legal framework on which the interaction between Russia and the United States in the field of culture is based. The main institutions and organizations that are involved in the implementation of intercultural interaction are highlighted in the paper. The political events of 2014-2019 are considered in order to analyze how the political aspect has affected the cultural sphere. In addition, the paper points out the problems and prospects of cultural cooperation and formulates recommendations. On the basis of objectives the following conclusions were reached: national documents of Russia and the USA reflect the main provisions of international acts in the field of culture; various organizations, foundations, cultural centers are involved in the organization of intercultural cooperation of the countries; political events of 2014-2019 simultaneously had a negative impact on the cultural interaction of the countries and also encouraged more active development of cultural contacts to reduce the tension between the states.
