Graphics support for the international student TV and radio channel "Most", St Petersburg University

Abstract

Настоящее исследование посвящено проблеме использования визуально-графических принципов и форм информационно транслирующих технологий в системе современного телевидения на примере существующего студенческого телеканала «МОСТ» при университете СПбГУ, а также разработке прототипа сайта онлайн-платформы, формирующего образ и отражающего идею молодёжного тв-канала. В рамках исследования ставится задача изучить процесс развития дизайн-графики периода ХХ-XXI-го вв., а вместе с тем, графических аналогов, которые относятся к школам дизайна, сфере телевидения, исследовать изобразительные принципы проектирования графического стиля телеканалов, выявить хронологию их развития с момента появления до нашего времени. Основная идея работы заключается в разработке концепции, которая в перспективе может быть применена к аналогичным проектам в сфере телевидения. Графическое интерпретирование телевизионного канала в цифровой среде направлено на систематизацию подачи публикуемой информации, а также на дальнейшее улучшение её структуры. Исследование является актуальным, поскольку предмет исследования не имел отдельно существующей платформы, предназначенной для структурированной подачи информации от лица студенческого телеканала. В то же время, благодаря технологическому процессу XXI-го в. телеканалы с мировым именем, а также отдельные вещательные учреждения стремятся перейти полностью в плоскость цифрового вещания, в том числе, с использованием различных портативных устройств.

The present research is devoted to the problem of using visual and graphic principles and forms of information broadcasting technologies in the modern television system on the example of the existing student TV channel "MOST" at the University of St. Petersburg State University, as well as the development of a prototype of an online platform site that forms the image and reflects the idea of a youth TV channel. The research aims to study the process of development of design graphics of the period of the XX-XXI centuries, and at the same time, graphic analogues that relate to design schools, the field of television, to explore the visual principles of designing the graphic style of TV channels, to identify the chronology of their development from the moment of their appearance to our time. The main idea of the work is to develop a concept that can be applied to similar projects in the field of television in the future. Graphic interpretation of a television channel in a digital environment is aimed at systematizing the presentation of published information, as well as at further improving its structure. The study is relevant because the subject of the study did not have a separate platform designed for structured presentation of information on behalf of the student TV channel. At the same time, thanks to the technological process of the 21st century, world-famous TV channels, as well as individual broadcasting institutions, are striving to move completely into the digital broadcasting plane, including using various portable devices.
