The military Revolution in Germany during the chancellorship of Angela Merkel (2005 - 2014)

Abstract

Работа посвящена исследованию эволюции ВС Германии. На рубеже XX-XXI вв. началась РВД, шестая по счету в истории. ФРГ является важным участником международных отношений, по этой причине важно рассмотреть, как РВД затронула Германию. Для освещения данной проблемы в работе представлен обзор технологий, которые являются элементами РВД; исследована история и основные этапы развития Бундесвера; проанализирована внутренняя структура и специфика ВС Германии. В ходе исследования были выявлены причины, которые способствуют или препятствуют процессу трансформации немецкой военной доктрины. По итогам работы даны краткие заключения о современном состоянии Бундесвера и о его возможных перспективах.

The work is devoted to the study of the evolution of the German armed forces. At the turn of XX-XXI centuries were a period of military Revolution, the sixth in history. Germany is an important actor in international relations, for this reason, it is important to consider how the RMA has affected Germany. To illuminate this issue this work presents an overview of the technologies which are elements of the RMA; studied the history and main stages of development of the Bundeswehr; analyzed the internal structure and specificity of the German armed forces. During the survey identified the reasons that help or hinder the transformation process of the German military doctrine. Following the work gives a brief conclusion about the current state of the Bundeswehr and its future prospects.
