The Cultural Benchmarks of Italian Anti-Fascism

Abstract

Магистерская диссертация посвящена исследованию культурной деятельности антифашистского движения итальянских интеллектуалов. В работе рассматриваются истоки и развитие фашизма, история его изучения, исследуется появление антифашизма, возможности и результаты интеллектуального противостояния тоталитарной идеологии в самом начале её развития, а также анализируется актуальность фашизма и антифашизма в контексте современного мира. Исследование строится вокруг публикаций итальянских писателей и мыслителей антифашистского толка, главным образом опираясь на деятельность Пьеро Гобетти и его издательства. В диссертации использованы материалы открытых лекций прочитанных профессором Бартоло Гарильо в 2012-2016 г. в СПбГУ, а также архивные документы и публикации, ранее не переводившиеся на русский язык.

The master's thesis is devoted to the study of the cultural praxis of the anti-fascist movement of the Italian intellectuals. The paper examines the origins and development of fascism, the history of it’s study, explores the emergence of antifascism, the possibilities and results of the intellectual opposition of totalitarian ideology at the very beginning of its development, and analyzes the relevance of fascism and antifascism in the context of the modern world. The study focuses on publications by Italian writers and anti-fascist thinkers, mainly based on the work of Piero Gobetti and his publishing house. The master's thesis used materials from open lectures given by a professor Bartolo Gariglio in 2012-2016 in Saint-Petersburg State University, as well as archival documents and publications previously not translated into Russian.
