Civilizational contexts of African regionalism

Abstract

The dynamics of African regionalism in the context of civilizational themes is considered. The aim of the work is to analyze and summarize the accumulated scientific material about the past and present of Africa, where the processes of natural and social character are closely intertwined. The category of civilization is the explanatory principle of objective search. As the main research (methodological) approach is used geohistorical reconstruction of event pictures and a systematic view of the object of cognition. The result of the work was a detailed picture of modern African regionalism, reflecting the specifics of the continental geo-space. The presented deduced knowledge can contribute to further scientific research in this direction, as well as contribute to the formation of a fundamental scientific basis for analyzing the planetary picture.
