dc.description.abstract | The article provides an overview of the situation surrounding the training of classical European ballet choreographers in China. The difference between Chinese classical choreography and European ballet is described. It is noted that small educational institutions that are already preparing choreographers in the “classical ballet” profile not only require the technical component of instruction, but, above all, the cultural and historical knowledge of students. The museum is presented as an environment where future choreographers could gain the necessary cultural baggage. Thus, an analysis of the sculptural works of European artists can help to master the specifics of the composition of plastic forms, to understand the language of lines and bends, close to the European viewer. An analysis of the paintings provides an understanding of many works of ballet art, as many of them were inspired by canvases of masters. Museums also contribute to the development of the genre and style diversity of art. The article examines the situation in the museum industry of China, and notes the importance that is devoted to this field for the cultural development of citizens. At the same time, it is stipulated that almost all museums of the PRC are dedicated to Chinese national art and there are only a few museums that would exhibit works of art by European artists on an ongoing basis. Several recommendations are given by the author in order to include museums in the process of preparing Chinese ballet choreographers. | en_GB |
