The development of health tourism in the Republic of Belarus

Abstract

Изучаются предпосылки возникновения, развитие и современное состояние лечебно-оздоровительного туризма. Описывается развитие лечебно-оздоровительного туризма Республики Беларусь и непосредственно Витебской области. Особое внимание уделяется изучению природных ресурсов, на базе которых формируется инфраструктура санаторно-курортной и лечебно-оздоровительной индустрии. Результатом работы является определение тенденций развития лечебно-оздоровительного туризма на территории Республики Беларусь Витебской области, разработана программа тура в санаторий «Лесные Озера» с посещением г. Полоцка, его достопримечательностей и Березенского Биосферного заповедника. В заключении на основании изученного материала описаны результаты и выводы о проделанной работе.

The prerequisites for the emergence, development and current state of medical and health tourism are being studied. The development of medical and health tourism in the Republic of Belarus and directly in the Vitebsk region is described. Particular attention is paid to the study of natural resources, on the basis of which the infrastructure of the sanatorium and health resort and health-improving industry is formed. The result of the work is the identification of the trends in the development of medical and health tourism in the territory of the Republic of Belarus in the Vitebsk region, a program of the tour to the Lesnie Ozera sanatorium was developed, with a visit to Polotsk, its sights and the Berezensky Biosphere Reserve. In conclusion, based on the material studied, the results and conclusions about the work done are described.
