Pollution by sulphur and its compounds of soils in the Kola Peninsula

Abstract

В данной научно-исследовательской работе внимание уделено загрязнению почв. Объектом изучения являются природные комплексы Мурманской области в зоне деятельности предприятия по добыче сульфидных медно-никелевых руд и производству цветных металлов «Кольская горно-металлургическая компания». На сегодняшний день она является одной из крупнейших металлургических компаний России. В магистерской диссертации даны общие сведения о районе расположения предприятия (климатические условия, рельеф местности, геологическая характеристика, гидрология), приведена краткая характеристика предприятия и технологического процесса, рассмотрен процесс воздействия предприятия ОАО «Кольская ГМК» на окружающую среду, представлены сведения о миграции и аккумуляции серы и ее соединений в почвах исследуемого района, рассмотрена динамика состояния почв вблизи г. Мончегорск. Данные исследования являются продолжением работ по изучению миграции химических элементов в экосистемах и оценке антропогенного воздействия на окружающую среду Кольского полуострова, которые ведутся с 2001 г. на кафедре геоэкологии и природопользования СПБГУ. In this research work, attention is focused on soil contamination. The object of study are the Murmansk region's natural complexes in the zone where the Kola Mining and Metallurgical Company is engaged in the extraction of sulphide copper-nickel ores and the production of non-ferrous metals. Nowadays it is one of the largest metallurgical companies in Russia. In the master's thesis, general information is given about the location of the enterprise (climatic conditions, terrain, geological characteristics, hydrology), a brief description of the enterprise and its technological process. The process of the Kola MMC's impact on the environment, the information on migration and accumulation Sulfur, its compounds in the soils of the investigated region and the dynamics of the state of soils near the city of Monchegorsk were considered. These studies continue to study the migration of chemical elements in ecosystems and to assess the anthropogenic impact on the environment of the Kola Peninsula, which have been conducted since 2001 at the Department of Geoecology and Nature Management of SPbSU. The diploma project contains 72 pages, 14 tables, 9 figures.
