Tectonic evolution of the Western part of Southern Verkhoyansk

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена изучению тектонической эволюции западной части Южного сектора Верхоянского складчато-надвигового пояса. В исследовании приводится описание геологической истории региона от докембрийского до современного времени и делается акцент на том, какие изменения вносят результаты проведенного нами исследования в современный взгляд на геологию Южного Верхоянья. В частности, построенная палеотектоническая схема для предсреднерифейского времени впервые позволила выявить особенности деформационных процессов, имевших место в конце раннего рифея. На основе личных полевых структурных наблюдений с последующей обработкой собранных материалов методом структурно-кинематического анализа нами установлено 4 этапа деформаций в пределах северо-западного замыкания Южного Верхоянья, приуроченных к мезокайнозойским коллизионным процессам. Помимо этого, проведена интерпретация данных трекового датирования обломочных цирконов и апатитов из рифей-вендских терригенных отложений западной и центральной частей Южного Верхоянья, в результате чего было выделено 4 фазы тектонической активизации региона в мезокайнозойское время.

This work is devoted to the study of the tectonic evolution of the western part of the South Verkhoyansk fold-thrust structures. The study describes the geological history of the region from Precambrian to modern times and focuses on the changes that the results of our study make in a modern view of the geology of South Verkhoyansk. In particular, the constructed paleotectonic scheme for the pre-median Riphean time for the first time became possible to learn the features of the deformation processes that were at the end of the early Riphean. Based on personal field structural observations and subsequent processing of collected materials by the method of structural-kinematic analysis, we established four stages of deformations within the northwestern closure of the Southern Verkhoyansk region, associated with the Mesozoic-Cenozoic collision processes. In addition, as a result of interpretation of the data of track dating of clastic zircons and apatites from the Riphean-Vendian terrigenous sediments of the western and central parts of the Southern Verkhoyansk region, four phases of the tectonic activation of the region in the Mesozoic-Neozoic period were identified.
