A study of urban density indicators: A case study of the Petrograd Side, St.Petersburg

Abstract

В данной работе исследуется применение такого показателя устойчивого развития территории, как плотность, на примере Петроградской стороны Санкт-Петербурга. Рассматривается взаимосвязь индикаторов плотности с качеством окружающей среды и устойчивым развитием города, а также практика применения этих индикаторов.

The study considers a research of the implementation of the density – one of the indexes of the sustainable development of the area. As the explored area, the Petrograd side, St. Petersburg, was chosen. The interrelations between density indexes and the environmental quality, the level of the sustainable development of the city are considered, together with the practice of the implementation.
