The European Union in the global political system of the 21st century

Abstract

Актуальность избранной темы обусловлена тем, что Европейский Союз сегодня является наиболее эффективной формой глобальной регионализации и важным мирополитическим актором в системе XXI века. Цель работы была проанализировать роль Евросоюза в политической системе XXI века. В ходе проделанной работы, автор пришел к выводу, что Европейский Союз – это экономическое, социальное, культурное, информационное пространство 28 стран-членов, которое обладает уникальным статусом: это ни государство, ни международная организация и функционирует системы многоуровневого управления.The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the fact that the European Union is the most effective form of global regionalization and important actor of the XXI century. The aim of this work was to analyze the role of the EU in the political system of the XXI century. Тhe author came to the conclusion that the EU it is an economic, social, cultural and information space of the 28 member - countries, which has a unique status: it is neither a state nor an international organization and its’ system of functioning is multilevel governance.
