Данная работа являет собой исследование развития мореходства, кораблестроения и военного дела на море. Работа состоит из двух разделов: Гражданское и торговое мореходство и Военное-морское дело. Каждый из этих разделов делится на несколько глав, где исследуются различные аспекты эволюции кораблестроения и морской жизни эллинистического мира как в мирной, так и в военной области.This is a historical recearching of seamenship, shipbuilding, naval architecture and sea battles during the Hellenistic age. The work consists of two big parts: Civil and trade shipping and Naval warfare. Each of these sections is divided into several chapters that explore various aspects of ship's constructions evolution, the marine life of the Hellenistic world both in peaceful and military area.
