Abstract
This work is devoted to the study of the impact of economic migration on the welfare and development of Spain and France. In the first chapter, the author explains the meaning of economic migration and describes different scientific approaches to this phenomenon. In the next two chapters the author writes about two models of immigration policy : spanish and french. And in the last chapter, the author compares the general policy directions of countries directed against large-scale flows of migrants and fundamentally different approaches. The study found that unlike the positive aspects of migration, there are more negative consequences for the economy of european countries. At the current time, european countries are tightening their immigration policies and it leads to positive results, thats why it is necessary to impove legislation and cooperate forces within the EU in the future. Moreover, countries have to cooperate in this area with donor countries, as recipient countries can not solve this problem alone. Governments need to take a serious approach to solving this problem because it is one of the most acute problems in the XXI century.
