Transformations in the enre of self-portrait in Italian art

Abstract

Данная выпускная квалификационная работа посвящена осмыслению узловых моментов в трансформации автопортретного жанра в итальянской художественной культуре как формы познания художником самого себя и окружающей его культурной действительности. Изучение автопортретного жанра позволяет восстановить мировоззренческие доминанты в культуре Италии в разные исторические эпохи. Актуальность исследования заключается в том, что проблема самопознания личности, соотношения своего внутреннего и внешнего облика является в современной культуре важнейшей. В связи с этим автопортрет является одним из самых распространенных жанров, воплощаясь в различных нетрадиционных видах и формах.The present graduation thesis deals with interpretation of the key points in transformation of the self-portrait genre in the Italian artistic culture as a form of the artist’s self-cognition and understanding of the surrounding cultural reality. The self-portrait genre study makes it possible to remodel dominating world-view ideas of the culture of Italy in different historical periods. The thematic justification lies in the fact that the matter of personal self-cognition, of the ratio between the internal and external forms, is the most important in the modern culture. In this respect, self-portrait is one of the most popular genres being embodied in different unconventional forms and shapes.
