The pragmalinguistic aspect of translating French political metaphors into Russian

Abstract

Тема: "Прагмалингвистический аспект перевода французской политической метафоры на русский язык". В рамках данной темы были рассмотрены основные виды прагматических адаптаций при переводе французских политических метафор на русский язык, выделены наиболее эффективные и употребительные из них и даны рекомендации по переводу.Таким образом, объектом исследования является французская политическая метафора, а предметом исследования - способы ее перевода. Структура работы представлена Введением, двумя главами, Заключением и Списком использованной литературы. Промежуточные и итоговые результаты формализованы в тексте работы в виде таблицы и ряда классификаций. Общее количество страниц дипломной работы - 76. При написании было использовано 33 научных источника и проанализировано 300 французских политических статей и их переводов.Topic: "The pragmalinguistic aspect of translating French political metaphors into Russian". This study is an initial attempt to investigate and explain the most effective methods of translating political metaphors. The qualification paper analyzes the ensemble of theoretical texts on metaphors, their pragmatic aspects and the theory of translation. Data for the analysis were collected from French weekly newspaper articles related to the sphere of international relations and world politics. In general, around 300 articles were analyzed and 276 examples of political metaphors were found. The paper consists of Introduction, two chapters, Conclusion and References. Chapter one gives a review of metaphor`s structure, functions and it`s pragmatic aspects in language. Second chapter is devoted to the classification of political metaphors and to the analyzing of the translation transformations.
