Female characters in Higuchi Ichiyō's writings

Abstract

В данной выпускной квалификационной работе проведено исследование женских образов в произведениях японской писательницы эпохи Мэйдзи Хигути Итиё. Работа состоит из введения, двух глав, заключения, списка использованной литературы и двух приложений. В первой главе рассмотрена история развития литературных направлений в эпоху Мэйдзи, становление литературы женского потока и биография Хигути Итиё. Во второй главе проведен анализ образов героинь из пяти наиболее репрезентативных произведений данной писательницы. В приложениях представлены переводы двух ранее непереведенных рассказов Хигути Итиё.A study of female characters in the writings by the Japanese writer of the Meiji era Higuchi Ichiyo conducted within the research paper. The work consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of references and two appendices. The first chapter considers the history of the development of literary trends in the Meiji era, the formation of the woman’s writings and the biography of Higuchi Ichiyo. The second chapter analyses the images of the heroines from the five most representative works of Higuchi Ichiyo. The appendices contain translations of two previously untranslated short stories by Higuchi Ichiyo.
