Evolution of the security policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Persian Gulf Region, 2013–2023

Abstract

В выпускной квалификационной работе (ВКР) комплексно рассмотрена эволюция политики безопасности Исламской Республики Иран (ИРИ), выявлены основные исторические и концептуальные подходы к внешней политике ИРИ, охарактеризована геополитическая расстановка сил в регионе Персидского залива, определены основные причины многофакторных противодействий между ИРИ и арабскими странами Персидского залива, показаны основные позиции Ирана в «дипломатии сближения» с арабскими странами Персидского залива, охарактеризовано влияние глобальных акторов мировой политики (США, Россия, Китай) на формирование политики безопасности ИРИ в регионе Персидского залива, определены перспективы обеспечения безопасности региона Персидского залива в контексте внешней политики Ирана.The final qualifying work examines comprehensively the evolution of the security policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI), identifies the main historical and conceptual approaches to the foreign policy of the IRI, characterizes the geopolitical balance of power in the Persian Gulf region and identifies the main reasons for the multifactorial opposition between the IRI and the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf region, shows the main positions of Iran in the “diplomacy of rapprochement” with the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf, characterizes the influence of global actors in world politics (USA, Russia, China) on the formation of Iran's security policy in the Persian Gulf region, identifies prospects for ensuring the security of the Persian Gulf region in the context of Iran's foreign policy.
