Avant-garde heritage in the regions in a museum context

Abstract

Работа посвящена изучению истории русского художественного авангарда в контексте музейно-выставочной и туристской деятельности. В качестве регионов для изучения были выбраны города Смоленск, Тверь, Брянск и Саратов, связанные системой государственного художественного образования в 1920-х гг. XX в., посредством организации в указанных городах Свободных государственных художественных мастерских или Изостудий. Важной частью исследования является изучения музейных коллекций обозначенных регионов и предшествующая их формированию авангардная история каждого города.The work is devoted to the study of the history of the Russian artistic avant-garde in the context of museum and exhibition and tourist activities. The cities of Smolensk, Tver, Bryansk and Saratov, connected by the system of state art education in the 1920s of the XX century, through the organization of Free state art workshops or Art Studios in these cities, were chosen as regions for study. An important part of the research is the study of the museum collections of the designated regions and the avant-garde history of each city preceding their formation
