Социальная идентичность обычно изучается как ментальный процесс. В данном исследовании выбрана иная методологическая оптика: концепция перформативной идентичности. Молодой человек конструирует свою социальную идентичность поэта не столько через произвольную самоидентификацию, сколько в борьбе за завоевание аудитории. Сам процесс конструирования социальной идентичности предполагает несколько этапов.
Social identity is usually studied as a mental process. In this study, a different methodological optics has been chosen: the concept of performative identity. A young man constructs his social identity as a poet not so much through arbitrary self-identification as in the struggle to win over an audience. The process of constructing social identity involves several stages.
