Abstract
За последние пару десятилетий на Западе появилось множество фильмов, посвященных религиозной тематике. Одна из наиболее широко представленных тем – изображение католической монахини. В данной Выпускной квалификационной работе производится анализ существующих в западном кинематографе («Колокола Святой Марии», «История Монахини», «Мертвец идет», «Сестры Магдалины», «Сомнение», «Филомена») образов и стереотипов монахинь, а также доказывается тезис о том, что исторический и культурный контекст напрямую влияет на изображение того или иного персонажа в массовой культуре. В работе используется классификация М. Джаносик, и на ее основе выстроена оригинальная версия типологии образов католической монахини в современном западном кинематографе.
Работа состоит из введения, трех глав и заключения. Каждая глава соответствует определенному выделенному образу монахини в кинематографе и включает в себя анализ нескольких фильмов. Выпускная квалификационная работа состоит из 65 страниц и 81 позиции в списке литературы.
In the last couple of decades there have been many films in western cinematography where religious plots play principal roles. One of the most popular themes is the portrayal of a catholic nun. This Graduate Qualification Work is dedicated to the analysis of nuns’ portrayals and stereotypes that we can find in Western movies (“The Bells of St. Mary’s”, “The Nun’s Story”, “Dead Man Walking”, “The Magdalene Sisters”, “The Doubt”, “Philomena”). The thesis that historical and cultural context directly influences the portrayals of popular culture characters has been suggested and proved in the work. M. Janosik’s methodological approach has been used as the classification basis but transformed and enriched by other nuns’ portrayals patterns in Western cinematography. The work consists of the introduction, three chapters and conclusion. Every chapter is dedicated to a certain nun’s portrayal and several movies are being analyzed to interpret and explain each pattern. The Graduate Qualification Work has 65 pages and 81 items in the sources and literature index.
