Religion and secular culture in the Near East

Abstract

The purpose of the study guide is to form a clear understanding among the students of the relation between religious and secular components in the national Muslim-Arab culture from the historical perspective. This relation is considered is such spheres as law, education, social and scientific thought, gender relations, and arts.Пособие ставит своей задачей формирование у учащихся отчетливого представления о соотношении между религиозным и светским компонентами в национальной культуре арабов-мусульман в ее исторической перспективе. Это соотношение рассматривается в таких сферах как государственное право, образование, общественная и научная мысль, гендерные отношения, художественная культура.
