A comparative analysis of the cultural concepts "soul" and "heart" in Spanish and Portuguese vocabulary and phraseology

Abstract

Работа направлена на изучение концептов душа и сердце как компонентов идиоматических единиц на материале фразеологических словарей испанского и португальского языков. Целью диссертации является поиск универсальных и специфических черт в национальном портрете двух иберийских народов. Анализ примеров проводился эксплицитным раскрытием их содержания. Всего было собрано около 190 примеров, из них проанализировано в работе 146. Представленная работа состоит из введения, двух глав, заключения, списка литературы, который состоит из 50 наименований, 10 из них на иностранном языке, и приложения в виде фразеологического словаря.The thesis is dedicated to analysis of concepts soul and heart as components of idiomatic expressions taken from the phraseological dictionaries of Spanish and Portuguese languages. The aim of the research is to find universal and specific features in national portraits of two Iberian nations. The analysis of examples was done by means of the explicit revelation of idioms’ meaning. There have been collected 190 idioms and there have been analyzed 146 of them. The thesis consists of introduction, two parts, conclusion, reference list (50 titles, 10 of them in a foreign language) and appendix.
