Somatic phrases displaying social and individual characteristics of communicants in fiction and their translation from English into Russian

Abstract

Работа посвящена исследованию структурно-семантических особенностей соматических речений, отражающих социальные и индивидуальные характеристики коммуникантов в художественном произведении, с точки зрения перевода. В работе определены признаки, относящиеся к категориям социальных и индивидуальных, выявлены основные изменения структурного и семантического плана, наблюдаемые при переводе соматических речений, и их влияние на формирование художественного образа персонажа.The work is devoted to the structural and semantic features of somatic phrases displaying social and individual characteristics of communicants in fiction in terms of translation. The work defines the types of social and individual characteristics, gives the analyses of the main structural and semantic changes arising in the process of translation of somatic phrases and specifies the influence of these changes on depicting literary characters.
