Gromov–Hausdorff distance in normed vector spaces

Abstract

Получена верхняя оценка на расстояние Банаха-Мазура через расстояние по Громову-Хаусдорфу между единичными шарами нормированных пространств и доказано, что расстояние по Громову-Хаусдорфу между единичными шарами нормированных пространств разных размерностей отделено от нуля.An upper estimate for the Banach-Mazur distance in terms of the Gromov-Hausdorff distance between unit balls of normed spaces is obtained. It is proved that the Gromov-Hausdorff distance between unit balls of normed spaces of different dimensions is separated from zero.
