The legal literacy of dentists

Abstract

Практика работы врачей-стоматологов показывает, что участившиеся конфликты между медиками и их пациентами связаны не только с объективными трудностями и недостатками в работе, но и с незнанием или недооценкой прав граждан в области охраны здоровья, юридических аспектов деятельности врача. В работе освещается проблема медико-правовой грамотности врачей стоматологов и ее значимости для практикующих специалистов. С целью ее изучения было проведено эмпирическое многоэтапное исследование, проведенный опрос позволил выявить недостаточно высокий уровень их медико-правовой грамотности. Даны практические рекомендации.The practice of dentists shows that the increasing conflicts between doctors and their patients are associated not only with objective difficulties and shortcomings in their work, but also with ignorance or underestimation of citizens' rights in the field of health protection, legal aspects of a doctor's work. The work highlights the problem of medical and legal literacy of dentists and its importance for practicing specialists. In order to study it, an empirical multistage study was carried out, the survey made it possible to reveal an insufficiently high level of their medical and legal literacy. Practical recommendations are given.
