University cities as tourist centres in Europe

Abstract

Изучаются университетские города Европы, как предмет развития туризма. Описывается история университетских городов, их туристическая инфраструктура и достопримечательности. Обсуждаются древнейшие университеты Европы, их историко-культурные особенности, структура, учебные программы и условия обучения. Делается вывод, что университетские города Европы могут заинтересовать не только иностранных студентов, которые хотят получить качественное высшее образование, но и любого туриста, желающего познакомиться с многовековой историей древних городов и университетов.University cities in Europe, as the subject of tourism development are studied. The history of university towns, their tourist infrastructure and attractions are described. The oldest universities in Europe, their historical and cultural characteristics, structure, curriculum and educational conditions are discussed. It is concluded that the university cities of Europe may be of interest not only to foreign students who want to get a high-quality higher education, but also to any tourist who wants to get acquainted with the centuries-old history of ancient cities and universities.
