Management in modern Russian society: A gender analysis

Abstract

В работе рассматриваются гендерные особенности менеджмента на примере социально-культурной сферы. Уровень развития сферы сервиса является важнейшим критерием и характеристикой современного общества. Автор акцентирует внимание на возможности женщин стать успешными руководителями в социально-культурной сфере. Также изучается зависимость гендера управленца от уровня менеджмента, и влияние гендера на стиль руководства менеджера.

The paper discusses gender peculiarities of management in the socio-cultural sphere. The level of development of sphere of service is the most important criteria and characteristics of modern society. The author focuses on the ability of women to become successful leaders in the socio-cultural sphere. We also study the dependence of the gender of the manager from the management level, and the influence of gender on the leadership style of the manager.
