Regional museums in the context of the regional natural history movement during the first years of the Soviet era

Abstract

В работе рассмотрен процесс развития региональных музеев в системе краеведческих и музейных учреждений РСФСР в период краеведческого движения 20-30-х гг. Анализ различных источников позволил определить основное направление государственной политики в области краеведческих музеев в период активизации социалистического строительства. Также на основе конкретных примеров показана взаимосвязь музеев с краеведческими организациями.

In this work, the process of development of regional museums in the system of local lore and museum institutions of the RSFSR during the period of local lore movement of the 20-30s is considered. The analysis of various sources made it possible to determine the main direction of state policy in the field of local lore museums during the period of intensification of socialist construction. Also, on the basis of specific examples, the relationship between museums and local history organizations is shown.
