Relations between the Soviet regime and the Leningrad avant-garde in the 1920s – 1930s

Abstract

В данной диссертационной работе рассматриваются два полярных этапа из истории существования ленинградского авангарда и его взаимоотношений с Советской властью. После прихода к власти большевиков в 1917 году русский авангард стал важным элементом официальной культуры нового государства, многие петроградские деятели авангарда были интегрированы в государственные органы, осуществляющие управление в сфере культуры и из руками были осуществлены первые мероприятия Советской власти в этой области. При этом авангардисты демонстрировали полную лояльность политическому режиму. Однако с окончанием Гражданской войны и наступлением мира авангардисты не нужны большевикам и в силу различных причин оказались отстранены от управления искусством, заняв место в творческой иерархии наравне с другими течениями. К концу 1920х годов авангард хиреет, маргинализируется,становится уделом фанатов-одиночек и объектом нападок со стороны властей за отсутствие за отсутствие идейности. На этом фоне появляется футуристическая группа ОБЭРИУ, которая привлекает к себе общественное внимание в масштабах Ленинграда. Власть, не готовая мириться присутствием такого явления в созданной ей монолитно-централизованной и идейно очерченной культурной среде, организует обличительную кампанию в печати, которая, в конечном счёте, заканчивается арестом основных участников группы, обвинением их в контрреволюционной деятельности и высылкой из Ленинграда.

In this disseration,it is redarded two opposite stages in the history of the Leningrad avant-garde and its mutual relations whis the Soviet Regime. Whis coming to power of Bolsheviks in 1917 Russian Avant-garde became an important element of the official culture of the new goverment, many of Petrograd avant-garde figures were integrated into state bodies that maintaining comtrol in the sphere of culture and the first measers of Soviet goverment in this field were carried out by theis hands. At thr same time, avant-gardism followers demonstrate loyality to the political regime. However, with the end of the Civil war and the onest of peace, avant-gardists were no longer needed the Bolsheviks and for various reasons were removed from administration of culture and the art, taking place in the creative arrangement along with other art movements. By thr end of the 1920s, the Leningrad avant-garde was rundown, marginalized, becoming the lot of single-fanatics and the fair game by the autorities for the lack of ideology. In this condition appears a futuristic group OBERIU, which is winning a notoriety and attracing public attention on a Leningrad scale. Goverment, not to feel comfortable whis presence oh sach phenomenon in created monolithic centralized and ideological definded culture organizes an accusatory campaign in the print press against of the OBERIU figures, which in the final ends with arrest of the main participants of the group accusing them of counterrewolutionary activity and expulsion from Leningrad.
