Dynamic relational contracts

Abstract

В нашей диссертации рассматриваются две различные математические модели реляционных контрактов. Одна модель в случае двух игроков берется из существующей литературы. Самой интересной частью нашего исследования является случай многих лиц. Мы концентрируемся на задаче о нахождении сильного равновесия Нэша в реляционных договорах (это сделано впервые в теории игр).

Доказано, что трансферты в виде побочных платежей на каждом этапе игры могут привести к построению особого типа равновесия по Нэшу. Более того, это равновесие Нэша является сильным, а это значит, что оно устойчиво по отношению к отклонениям коалиций игроков. При организации трансфертов на каждом шаге игры мы используем дележи из ядра.

Для лучшего понимания результатов, требуется введение основных определений из теории игр. Это делается в разделе 3 диссертации.

In our dissertation two different mathematical models of Relational Contracts are considered. One model in two-person case is taken from existing literature. The most interesting part of our research is the n-person case. We concentrate on the problem of finding a strong Nash equilibrium in Relational Contracts (this is done first time in game theory).

We prove that the transfers in the form of side payments in each stage game can lead to construction of special type of Nash Equilibrium. What's more, this Nash equilibrium is a strong one, which means that it is stable against the deviations of coalitions of players. In organizing stage transfers, we use imputations from the core.

For a better understanding of results, the introduction of basic definitions from game theory is needed. This is done in section 3 of dissertation.
