Regional features of the use of shale gas as a new US industrialization factor

Abstract

Данное исследование посвящено современному процессу новой индустриализации (реиндустриализации) в США. В работе раскрыта концепция новой индустриализации США. Выявлены предпосылки и факторы новой индустриализации США. Более подробно раскрыты факторы государственной поддержки и низкой цены на природный газ. Исследована динамика добычи сланцевого газа, цены на газ для промышленных потребителей на территории страны и в отдельных штатах, а также динамика роста промышленного производства и занятости в регионах страны.

This study focuses on the modern process of new industrialization (reindustrialization) in the United States. The paper reveals the concept of new U.S. industrialization. Preconditions and factors of the new U.S. industrialization are identified, with a more detailed disclosure of U.S. national support and low natural gas prices. The dynamics of the production of shale gas, natural gas industrial prices in the country and in some states, as well as the dynamics of growth of industrial production and employment in the regions of the country, are researched.
