Features of Poland's European and Euro-Atlantic integration

Abstract

В данной магистерской диссертации рассматриваются особенности европейской и евроатлантической интеграции Польши в период с 2005 по 2023 год, с акцентом на взаимодействие политических стратегий ведущих конкурирующих политических сил Польши — партий «Право и справедливость» и «Гражданская платформа». Теоретическая основа исследования опирается на парадигмы неореализма и неолиберализма в теории международных отношений, что позволяет раскрыть причины и последствия интеграции Польши в ЕС и НАТО в контексте политических стратегий и установок ведущих партий. Исследование проведено с использованием системного, институционально-правового, сравнительно-исторического и децизионного методов. Работа показывает, что политическая конкуренция между партиями усиливает внутреннюю поляризацию и влияет на внешнеполитический курс Польши, её роль и влияние в ЕС и НАТО. Выявлено, что стратегии партий различаются в вопросах суверенитета и международного сотрудничества, что приводит к непоследовательности внешней политики Польши. Исследование подтверждает, что идеологические установки партий оказывают значительное влияние на интеграционные процессы, способствуя формированию различных политических подходов к участию Польши в международных организациях. Работа состоит из введения, трех глав, заключения, списка использованных источников и литературы, а также приложения.

This master's thesis examines the features of Poland's European and Euro-Atlantic integration in the period from 2005 to 2023, focusing on the interaction of political strategies of Poland's leading competing political forces - the Law and Justice and Civic Platform parties. The theoretical basis of the study is based on the paradigms of neorealism and neoliberalism in the theory of international relations, which makes it possible to reveal the causes and consequences of Poland's integration into the EU and NATO in the context of the political strategies and attitudes of the leading parties. The study was conducted using systemic, legal institutional, comparative-historical and decisional methods. The paper shows that political competition between parties increases internal polarisation and affects Poland's foreign policy course, its role and influence in the EU and NATO. It is revealed that party strategies differ on issues of sovereignty and international cooperation, which leads to inconsistency in Poland's foreign policy. The study confirms that the ideological attitudes of parties have a significant impact on integration processes, contributing to the formation of different political approaches to Poland's participation in international organisations. The paper consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, a list of used sources and literature, and an appendix.
