The dynamics of the thematic content of the magazine "Zeitschrift für Ideengeschichte" and the humanitarian landscape of modern Germany

Abstract

В данной работе проводится реконструкция образа современного немецкого читателя научно-популярных журналов, а также содержатся анализ и описание тенденций в развитии тем и статей журнала «Zeitschrift für Ideengeschichte» с помощью методов компьютерной лингвистики. В процессе исследования были изучены основные методы и инструменты компьютерной лингвистики, что помогло сформировать корпус текстов на основе журнала, а также обнаружить наиболее частотные употребления в период с 2013 по 2018 год. По завершению работы результаты анализа были интерпретированы с точки зрения интересов читателя, ситуаций в мире, исторический событий, а также относительно идеологической направленности журнала.

This work reconstructs the image of a modern German reader of popular science magazines, and also contains an analysis and description of trends in the development of topics and articles of the magazine "Zeitschrift für Ideengeschichte" using computational linguistics methods. During the research, the main methods and tools of computational linguistics were studied, which helped to form a corpus of texts based on the magazine, as well as to detect the most frequent uses in the period from 2013 to 2018. Upon completion of the work, the results of the analysis were interpreted from the point of view of the reader's interests, situations in the world, historical events, as well as regarding the ideological orientation of the magazine.
