World Monetary System Evolution in the Context of Deglobalization

Abstract

События последних лет показывают, что глобальные кризисы ускоряются и становятся масштабнее, а мировые конфликты только усиливаются. Кризис, вызванный пандемией коронавируса, по своим масштабам превзошел глобальный кризис 2008 года. Последствия событий 2022 г., антироссийские санкции могут вызывать затяжную рецессию во всем мире. Сегодня становится ясно, что глобальное мироустройство меняется, однополярный мир прекращает свое существование, а на его смену приходит многополярность. Последние несколько лет мир двигается в сторону деглобализации как экономики, так и финансовых рынков. В данном контексте важным аспектом является анализ международных валютных систем и их влияние на перспективы развития валютного рынка в условиях глобализации или деглобализации. Исследование позволяет выявить основные проблемы в современной мировой экономике и оценить их возможное влияние на развитие валютного рынка.

The events of recent years show that global crises are accelerating and becoming more widespread, and global conflicts are only intensifying. The crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic has surpassed the global crisis of 2008 in scale. The consequences of the events of 2022, anti-Russian sanctions may cause a prolonged recession around the world. Today it is becoming clear that the global world order is changing, the unipolar world is ceasing to exist, and it is being replaced by multipolarity. Over the past few years, the world has been moving towards the deglobalization of both the economy and financial markets. In this context, an important aspect is the analysis of international monetary systems and their impact on the prospects for the development of the foreign exchange market in the context of globalization or deglobalization. The conducted research makes it possible to identify the main problems in the modern global economy and assess their possible impact on the development of the foreign exchange market.
