The coverage of internal political conflicts in the press of Israel and France

Abstract

Актуальность исследования заключается в том, что в последние несколько лет наблюдаются схожие проблемы, как в западных демократических странах, так и на Ближнем Востоке: в том числе, нестабильность валюты, нарастание неприязни на религиозной и расовой почве, увеличение миграционных потоков, политическая и социальная нестабильность. Кризисное состояние государств не может не находить своего отражения в средствах массовой информации, как основном индикаторе состояния общества. В условиях глобальной политической нестабильности, необходимо уделить пристальное внимание материалам периодических изданий, в частности Франции и Израиля, которые способны существенно влиять на состояние общества. Научная новизна работы связана с тем, что проблематика внутриполитических конфликтов современных Франции и Израиля мало изучена. В ВКР произведен подробный теоретический анализ риторики конфликта, а также стратегии политической коммуникации сквозь страницы печатных СМИ. Также автор провёл исследование публикаций, в которых наиболее ярко выражено отношение журналистов к текущим проблемам стран, что позволило выявить перспективы развития государств в видении СМИ. Цель исследования – выявить особенности освещения внутриполитических конфликтов в прессе Франции и Израиля. Для достижения данной цели нами были поставлены следующие задачи: - изучить риторику конфликта; - рассмотреть подходы к типологизации конфликта; - изучить особенности внутриполитического конфликта в медийном дискурсе; - охарактеризовать секторы печати во Франции и Израиле; - проанализировать публикации, посвященные внутриполитическим конфликтам в прессе Франции и Израиля; - сравнить освещение внутриполитических конфликтов в прессе Франции и Израиля. В качестве объекта исследования были выбраны французские и израильские периодические издания. Предметом исследования стало освещение внутриполитических конфликтов в прессе Франции и Израиля. Теоретическую базу исследования составили труды в области конфликтологии, социологии, истории и теории журналистики, в том числе работы А. В. Дмитриева, А. Я. Анцупова, Ю. Г. Запрудского, Р. Харриса, Б. И. Хасана, В. Е. Аникеева, А. С. Пую, А. Эпштейна, Ж. Бодрийяра, М. Дюверже, Д. Халлина, П. Манчини и др. В основу методической базы легли такие общенаучные методы, как исторический и компаративный, а также теоретический анализ. В процессе работы с эмпирическим материалом исследования были использованы методы сравнительного и контент-анализа. Эмпирической базой работы послужили выпуски французских и израильских периодических изданий (“Marianne”, “Le Figaro”, “Le Monde”, “Israel Hayom”, “Haaretz” и “The Jerusalem Post”), вышедшие с 25 декабря 2014 года по 8 января 2016 года. Структура работы. ВКР состоит из введения, трех глав, семи параграфов, заключения, списка литературы и приложений.

Relevance of the research refers to the fact that there are noted similar problems in Western democratic countries and the Middle East in the past few years. Spectrum of issues include: currency instability, the growing hostility on religious and racial grounds, an increase of migration flows, political and social instability. Actual critical condition of the state can’t help but find its reflection in the media as the main indicator of the social environment. In the context of global political instability, it is necessary to pay close attention to the articles of periodicals, in particular of France and Israel, which can significantly influence on the state of society. The scientific novelty of the work is related to the fact that the issue of internal political conflicts of modern France and Israel is little studied. In bachelor’s academic research we made a detailed theoretical analysis of the rhetoric of conflict and political communication strategies through the pages of print media. The author also explored publications in which the attitude of journalists to the country’s current problems is most clearly expressed. Due to this fact it was possible to identify the prospects for development of states in the media vision. The purpose of research: to reveal features of internal political conflict coverage in the press of France and Israel. To achieve this goal we put the following aims: - examine the rhetoric of conflict; - to consider approaches to the typology of the conflict; - examine the features of the internal political conflict in the media discourse; - to characterize the printing sectors in France and Israel; - analyze publications dedicated to internal political conflicts in press of France and Israel; - compare the coverage of internal political conflicts in the press of France and Israel. As the object of study were selected French and Israeli periodicals. The subject of the study was the coverage of internal political conflicts in the press of France and Israel. In the theoretical base of the research were put the works in the field of conflict resolution, sociology, history and theory of journalism, including works by A. Dmitriev, A. Antsupov, G. Zaprudskiy, R. Harris, B. Hasan, B. Anikeeva, A. Puyu, A. Epstein, J. Baudrillard, M. Duverger, D. Hallin and P. Mancini and others. The basis of the methodological framework is formed by further scientific methods: historical, comparative and theoretical analysis. In the process of working with empirical data and research we used methods of comparative content analysis. In the empirical base of the research laid the issues of French and Israeli periodicals ("Marianne", "Le Figaro", "Le Monde", "Israel Hayom", "Haaretz" and "The Jerusalem Post"), published since December 25, 2014 to January 8, 2016. The structure of work. Bachelor’s academic research consists of an introduction, three chapters, seven paragraphs, conclusion, bibliography and appendices.
