Forests with Oriental Beech (Fagus orientalis Lipsky) on the Arkhyz territory of the Teberdinsky National Park

Abstract

Леса с участием бука восточного (Fagus orientalis Lipsky) занимают ведущее место в экологическом равновесии Кавказа, так как выполняют водоохранные, почвозащитные и рекреационные функции. Изучение флоры и растительных сообществ Тебердинского национального парка имеет продолжительную историю, но несмотря на это леса с участием бука восточного пока являются не в достаточной степени изученными. Особенно это касается Архызского кластера национального парка, в связи с труднодоступностью многих участков этого района В работе представлены обобщённые сведения о лесах с участием бука на территории Тебердинского национального парка. Материалами для исследования послужили данные собранные во время полевых работ в национальном парке, произведённых в июне 2022 года, архивные источники (геоботанические описания, карты, литература), данные ДЗЗ. При выполнении работы было уделено внимание анализу флоры исследуемых территорий, особенностям высотной поясности участка и распространению основных типов растительности. В ходе исследований была дана эколого-флористическая характеристика лесов с участием бука восточного, выявлена таксономическая структуры флоры, уровень видового богатства, произведён географический анализ исследуемых сообществ.

Forests with eastern beech (Fagus orientalis Lipsky) occupy a leading place in the ecological balance of the Caucasus, as they perform water protection, soil protection and recreational functions. The study of the flora and plant communities of the Teberda National Park has a long history, but despite this, the forests with the participation of oriental beech are not yet sufficiently studied. This is especially true for the Arkhyz cluster of the national park, due to the inaccessibility of many parts of the area This paper presents generalized information about beech forests on the territory of Teberda National Park. Materials for the study are the data collected during field works in the national park, carried out in June 2022, archival sources (geobotanical descriptions, maps, literature), remote sensing data. During the work, attention was paid to the analysis of the flora of the studied territories, the peculiarities of the altitudinal zonation of the site and the distribution of the main vegetation types. In the course of research, the ecological and floristic characteristics of forests with eastern beech were given, the taxonomic structure of flora, the level of species richness were revealed, and the geographical analysis of the studied communities was carried out.
