Concepts of a woman and a man in the Dutch and Russian linguistic worldview

Abstract

Целью работы является выявление сходств и различий между концептами женщины и мужчины в нидерландской и русской лингвистических картинах мира. ВКР состоит из введения, двух глав, заключения и списка литературы. Во введении обоснована актуальность выбранной темы, а также сформулирована гипотеза исследования. В первой главе изучены понятия, послужившие теоретической основой для исследования, а именно: концепт в лингвокультурологии, фразеологизм, пословица, национальный характер, гендер. Во второй главе проанализирован собранный фразеологический и пословичный материал нидерландского и русского языков, а также приведены примеры употребления некоторых нидерландских фразеологизмов и паремий из текстов. Далее исследуемые единицы были классифицированы и сопоставлены. В результате был сформулирован набор свойств (ценностей и антиценностей), приписываемых мужчине и женщине в нидерландской и русской языковой картине мира. В заключении приводятся краткие итоги анализа и сравнения концептов мужчины и женщины в обеих картинах мира.

The aim of the work is to identify similarities and differences between the concepts of a woman and a man in the Dutch and Russian linguistic worldviews. The thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion and a list of references. In the introduction, the relevance of the chosen topic is substantiated, and the research hypothesis is formulated. The first chapter emphasizes the concepts that served as a theoretical basis for the study, namely: the concept in linguoculturology, phraseology, proverb, national character, gender. The collected phraseological and proverb material of the Dutch and Russian languages was analyzed in the second chapter. It also contains examples of the use of some Dutch phraseological units and proverbs from texts. Further, the studied units were classified and compared. The result is a formulated set of properties (values and anti-values) that are attributed to a man and a woman in the Dutch and Russian linguistic worldview. In conclusion, brief results of the analysis and comparison of the concepts of man and woman in both worldviews are presented.
