Lexico-semantic field of verbs of motion in Dutch language

Abstract

Целью данной исследовательской работы является выявление и описание лексико-семантических особенностей употребления глаголов движения komen и gaan. Выпускная квалификационная работа состоит из введения, двух глав, заключения, списка сокращений и списка литературы. Во введении обоснована актуальность выбранной темы, поставлены задачи, необходимые для достижения цели. В первой главе изложены теоретические понятия, на которые опиралось исследование, а именно: движение, перемещение, глагол движения, лексико-семантическое поле, метафора. Во второй главе описывается структура лексико-семантического поля глаголов движения и обосновывается выбор глаголов komen и gaan в качестве предмета дальнейшего исследования. В последующих параграфах этой главы рассматриваются виды сдвига семантики этих глаголов – метафоризация и десемантизация. На основе материала, включающего 350 примеров употребления глаголов komen и gaan в устной и письменной форме, классифицированы типы их метафоризации по семантике и типу субъекта. В заключении описываются основные направления десемантизации и ее особенности во фламандском варианте нидерландского языка.

The aim of this research work is to identify and describe the lexical-semantic features of the use of the verbs of motion komen and gaan. This work consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of abbreviations and a list of references. The introduction states the relevance of the chosen topic, the tasks that are necessary to achieve the goal are set. The first chapter outlines the theoretical concepts on which the study was based, namely: motion, movement, verb of motion, lexical-semantic field, metaphor. The second chapter describes the structure of the lexical-semantic field of motion verbs and substantiates the choice of the verbs komen and gaan as the subject of further chapters. In the following paragraphs of this chapter the types of shifts in the semantics of these verbs - metaphorization and desemantization – are the subject of discussion. Based on the material, which includes 350 samples of the verbs komen and gaan in oral and written form, the types of their metaphorization by meaning and type of subject are classified. Finally, the main ways of desemantization and its peculiarities in the Flemish variety of the Dutch language are described.
