Information technology in the National Archive of the USA

Abstract

Работа посвящена применению информационных технологий в Национальном Архиве США (NARA). В первой главе рассказывается об истории архивного дела в США. Во второй главе рассматривается деятельность американских архивистов по применению информационных технологий, в том числе проект «Электронные архивы», электронный документооборот и управление электронной документацией, создание баз данных и обеспечение сохранности электронных документов. В третьей главе проводится анализ NARA, перспектив дальнейшего развития информатизации архивного дела в США и возможностей учета и использования этого опыта. Основными источниками исследования послужили электронные ресурсы США и публикации отечественных и американских специалистов.

The work focuses on the application of information technology in the US National Archives (NARA). The chapter one describes the history of archives in the United States. The chapter two reviews the activities of American Archivists on the application of information technologies, including the project "Electronic Archives", electronic document management and electronic documentation, database development and preservation of electronic documents. The chapter three is held NARA analysis of prospects for further development of informatization of archives in the US and accounting capabilities and use this experience. The main sources of the study are the US electronic resources and the publication of Russian and US experts.
