The structure and conditions of the formation of the Upper Jurassic deposits in the Crimea and the prospects for their oil and gas content on the shelf of the Black Sea

Abstract

На территории Крыма известно несколько основных стратиграфических уровней, к которым приурочены резервуары нефти и газа на шельфе Черного моря. Одним из таких уровней является верхнеюрский, недостаточно изученный бурением. Резервуары углеводородов в породах этого возраста ожидаются в рифогенных породах. В данной работе рассмотрены особенности строения и представлена реконструкция условий формирования верхнеюрских пород Крыма. Материалом для исследования послужили результаты изучения разрезов судакской свиты на отрогах горы Перчем, горы Сокол, южного побережья Судакской бухты в районе Генуэзской крепости, юго-западного побережья мыса Алчак, в окрестностях города Судак.

On the territory of the Crimea, there are several main stratigraphic levels, which are associated with oil and gas reservoirs on the Black Sea shelf. One of these levels is the Upper Jurassic, which is insufficiently studied by drilling. Reservoirs of hydrocarbons in rocks of this age are expected in reef rocks. In this paper, the features of the structure are considered and the reconstruction of the conditions of formation of the Upper Jurassic rocks of the Crimea is presented. The material for the study was the results of studying the sections of the Sudak formation on the spurs of the mount Perchem, the mount Sokol, the southern coast of Sudak Bay in the area of the Genoese Fortress, the south-western coast of Cape Alchak, in the vicinity of the city of Sudak.
