The current state and development prospects of the shipbuilding industry in the Northwestern Federal District

Abstract

В работе комплексно рассмотрена современная структура судостроительной отрасли России, и в частности в пределах Северо-Западного федерального округа. Исследуются конкретные предприятия отрасли региона, их особенности развития, специализация и динамика показателей производства. По итогам исследования производственных показателей крупнейших судостроительных компаний автором была разработана и выполнена группировка произведенных судов по четырем категориям: военные (РФ), гражданские морские и речные и иностранные заказы, включая военные. По данной типологии составлена картографическая визуализация деятельности судостроительных компаний СЗФО и смежных предприятий. В работе произведен акцент на проблематику отрасли и выявлены перспективы развития, исходя из стратегических документов, государственных программ разных уровней и портфеля заказов предприятий.

The thesis comprehensively examines the modern structure of the shipbuilding industry in Russia, and in particular within the North-Western Federal district. Specific enterprises of the region's industry, their features of development, specialization and dynamics of production indicators are studied. Based on the results of the study of production indicators of the largest shipbuilding companies, the author developed and performed a grouping of manufactured vessels into four categories: military (Russian Federation), civil sea and river orders, and foreign orders, including military ones. According to this typology, a cartographic visualization of the activities of shipbuilding companies in the northwestern Federal district and related enterprises has been compiled. The paper focuses on the problems of the industry and identifies prospects for development, based on strategic documents, government programs at different levels and the portfolio of orders of enterprises.
